At its core, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) related projects are the foundation of our business. With nearly 20 years of experience in HPLC method development and in-depth knowledge of column chemistries, we target any market that requires this as a service. Included in this effort are projects that require mass spectrometry (LC-MS) detection.

Dissolution Method Development and Testing

Working primarily with early prototypes drug products, dissolution development, and testing are offered in conjunction with HPLC analysis.

Early Phase Sample Testing

Timing is critical to many businesses and organizations that need quick answers for their products or processes. They may not have the time to wait for a fully validated method to make important decisions on the direction of their company. We can help with providing early results.

Method Investigations and Problem Solving

In a well-structured analytical testing facility, incoming work is scheduled and planned with available resources. Product issues and method investigations inherent to the business can slow down the testing process. With years of experience in this area, we can offer quick solutions to companies in these situations to keep them on track.  Allow us to take on your method and sample issues while you continue to perform other scheduled testing.

Unique and One-Time Sample Testing

We are ready to work with companies or organizations that need a single sample tested but do not wish to get into long, complicated method transfers or validations. There is also the possibility of the sample testing being a one-time event. While some testing labs may pass on this type of work, we would welcome it and look forward to additional work from each client.

Natural Product Extraction and Analysis

We are excited to work with you on your natural product for active compound analysis or research.  We can perform the extraction, develop an analytical method for analysis, and test in-process/development samples or final products.  Scout Scientific has a special affinity towards the analysis of medicinal mushroom powders and tinctures.  Our current in-house research includes the isolation and study of bioactive compounds in Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus).  See our Medicinal Mushroom Testing.

Manufacturing Unique Compounds

We isolation and purify small compounds found in plants, flowers, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, roots, fruits and vegetables.  We are currently working towards the sale of unique compounds found in Lion’s Mane mushrooms.  Scout Scientific does not and will not work on any products or compounds that are illegal.

General Science Collaborations

Scout Scientific focuses most of its efforts towards activities to support pharmaceutical work with an emphasis on HPLC-related projects. We remain flexible and available at any opportunity. We are open to any scientific or technological innovation.  We love science and hope to get the opportunity to work with you on your project.  Examples of these ventures might include:
